F.M.I. is a community of church leaders and Churches across the continent who champion each other based on respectful relationships and a commitment to a high value for the Spirit and the Word, while pursuing Kingdom building values.
FMI was founded in 1981 by Derek Crumpton in response to the wave of Renewal which saw many churches embracing a new wineskin. Foundation Ministries International now partners with leaders in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda and Kenya.
John Crumpton leads the Apostolic Team which gives leadership support through congregational input, national conferences, leadership training and development, and missions trips both
locally and international.

Join us as we take time to set ourselves apart in the beautiful Drakensberg for two days as we look at what it means to have “Long obedience in the same direction”. This walk of faith is not a sprint but a marathon. In Hebrews 12, we are urged to run the race set out for us with perseverance. Together, we will discover what this looks like and why it’s so important to us today as Men, the heads of our homes, businesses, and ministries.

Cathcart Community Church 40th Anniversary Celebration
The Cathcart Community Church started with three praying ladies (Pam Perks, Sue Chubb and Lorena Burger), who then approached Derek Crumpton in late 1982 about starting a Church in Cathcart. A midweek group starting meeting in 1984, with support from FMI in East London.
This was the beginning of the Cathcart Community Church, as we know it today. Join us for a Saturday evening celebration dinner, followed by Sunday mornings celebration service.
